2023 Hurricane Forum

Code of Conduct | Cancellation Policy

Join us for the annual FMEA Hurricane & Storm Preparedness Forum, May 17 and 18 in Orlando. This forum is where Florida municipal electric utilities employees can share information and tips on how to prepare for and recover from a hurricane or severe storm in the state. Held in advance of the 2023 hurricane season, the forum will include discussions on topics such as emergency response plans, restoration strategies, and communication protocols. Participants will share their previous experiences, best practices and lessons learned. Updates on the forecasted 2023 storm season will also be provided.

Our Hurricane & Storm Preparedness Forum serves as a community for electric utilities in Florida to come together and share knowledge to help keep their customers safe and the power on during a severe weather event.
