Electric Tech II (Power Plant - Osceola Gas Generation) - OUC

OUC - The Reliable One, an industry leader and the second largest municipal utility in Florida committed to serving the community and the environment, is presently seeking a Electric Tech II (Power Plant - Osceola Gas Generation) to join the Electric & Water Production division.

We are looking for a self-motivated and experienced professional to be responsible for the troubleshooting and preventative maintenance of OUC’s power plant electrical systems and equipment. The Tech II classification is expected to hone and develop the mastery of power plant electrical maintenance skills, focusing on a specific area of the Power Plant while becoming more familiar over time with other areas. They are expected to be able to work independently on simple to moderate tasks. Tech II electricians work with high voltage (up to 6.9 kv) systems. Systems and equipment include but are not limited to the supporting and auxiliary electrical systems within and on: pumps, compressors, turbines, piping, valves, crushers, boilers, etc.
