2021 Florida Legislative Session Preview with Representative Bobby Payne

Chair Payne was first elected to the Florida House of Representatives in 2016 and represents House District 19 (Bradford, Putnam, Union and part of Clay counties) in Northeast Florida. A Palatka native, now-retired Representative Payne enjoyed a 34-year career at Seminole Electric Cooperative, holding several positions, including Manager of Operations at the Seminole Generating Station. Representative Payne was appointed by Speaker Chris Sprowls to serve in House leadership as Chair of the Ways and Means Committee, Vice Chair of the State Affairs Committee, and Vice Chair of the Pandemics and Public Emergencies Committee.
