2022 Electric Vehicles Roundtable

Wednesday, October 19, 2022
10:00 AM - 2:00 PM (EDT)

GRU Electric Operations Center (EOC) Bldg 7

4747 North Main Street Gainesville, FL 32609 United States

Electric vehicles in Florida are on the rise. For the last two years, Florida has seen a 50% increase in registered EVs each year, with more than 50 different models to choose from, including light duty trucks. Florida is primed to see a huge expansion in EVs, as long as the infrastructure can support that increase.

Join colleagues from other Florida public power utilities to discuss ways to help make our communities EV ready, discuss plans to launch a statewide commercial ride and drive event, and hear an update on how to take advantage of electric vehicle-related grant opportunities available to Florida and public power.

The roundtable discussion allows each member to share issues that impact their utility. Please come prepared to discuss new developments, programs, and concerns.
