FMEA’s Communications Award recognizes FMEA member utilities in raising awareness of public power and telling the public power story through web, social media, video, print or digital.

Criteria and Selection Process: Nomination of candidates for the Communications Award may be made by any FMEA Regular Member. Nominations can be made at this link. The Communications Award is selected annually by the FMEA staff from the nominations received and based on their involvement in FMEA activities and is affirmed by the Board of Directors President. Any current employee or official of any Associate Member is eligible.
