FMEA’s Professional Excellence Award is awarded to an individual who, throughout their career, has consistently demonstrated a commitment to their utility, public power and/or the improvement of services and reliability. Nominees must have more than five years of service in public power.

Criteria and Selection Process: Nomination of candidates for the Professional Excellence Award may be made by any FMEA Regular Member. Nominations can be made at this link. The Professional Excellence Award is selected annually by the FMEA staff from the nominations received and based on their involvement in FMEA activities and is affirmed by the Board of Directors President. Any current employee or official of any Associate Member is eligible.
