We are looking for a knowledgeable and skilled operator who will be responsible for providing thermal energy service to customers by operating, servicing, maintaining, and monitoring chilled water production. In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring plant operations through a computerized control system and making recommendations and decisions affecting plant operation or shut down. You will provide support to mechanics and maintenance team members in performing repairs and preventative maintenance on plant equipment and facilities.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum four (4) years' experience in the operation of large chillers, chilled water operations, and /or similar industrial equipment, including maintenance/operation of large machinery, control systems, etc.
  • Completion of an approved apprenticeship or vocational/technical training in heating, ventilation and air conditioning or equivalent may substitute for two (2) years of experience.
  • Must possess EPA Section 608 Universal Refrigerant Handling Certification (OR) can obtain within 6 months of hire.
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Valid Florida Driver's License

Salary Range: Starting at $25.274 per hour (Estimated $52,569.92 annually) with a structured step progression system and performance-based pay increases every 6 months up to $33.629 per hour (Estimated $69,948.32 annually).
