About this Course and Certificate
Part 2: Paving the Way to Efficiency: Time, Technology and Numbers
Boost your productivity and operational impact with essential tools for managing time, meetings, and resources. This 2-day session focuses on practical strategies for calendar control, meeting facilitation, and prioritization. Explore technology platforms that streamline workflows and improve communication, and gain confidence in handling budgets, financial reports, and resource planning. Designed for administrative professionals who juggle multiple responsibilities, this module helps you work smarter, not harder—so you can lead with clarity and precision.
This course is Part 2 of Tennessee Valley Public Power Association's 3-part Administrative Professional Program, which provides the essential tools to strengthen the skills and operational impact of administrative personnel in the public power industry. The course curriculum covers interpersonal effectiveness, foundational industry knowledge, and management of time, meetings, and resources. You may take any of the three courses as a standalone, or complete all three courses either via FMEA (see course offerings below, or online with TVPPA) to achieve a Administrative Professional Program Certificate.
- Part 1: Building Bridges: Communication and Culture. October 7-8, hosted by Kissimmee Utility Authority.
- Part 3: Learning the Landscape: From the Valley to the Boardroom. December 9-10, hosted by TBA in Orlando-metro area.
