ElectriCities of North Carolina, Inc., is the membership organization that provides power supply and related critical services to over 90 community-owned electric systems in North Carolina, South Carolina, and Virginia—collectively known as public power. ElectriCities manages the power supply for two power agencies in North Carolina and provides technical services to assist members in operating their electric distribution systems. ElectriCities also helps these locally owned and operated public power providers thrive today and in the future by delivering innovative services, including legislative, technical, communications, and economic development expertise. LineAlert Incorporated
LineAlert Inc. is a software company built for electric distribution utilities. The platform gives a utility a live, street-level view of damage inside its own service area during major storms and blue-sky days. The underlying platform has been in production for over a decade in international disaster response, including work with United Nations agencies across earthquakes, wildfires and floods. Adapted specifically for electric utilities, LineAlert is now in the first year of full operation. 

Deployment is deliberately light. A utility can run the control panel in a browser on equipment it already owns, or use a self-contained 5G iPad we supply that never touches its network. There is no integration project, no IT build and no change to the existing assessment process.
