Finalists Named for KUA Board, 2026

The Kissimmee Utility Authority board of directors interviewed seven applicants on Wednesday to fill an upcoming vacancy on the five-member volunteer utility board.
The new board member will replace outgoing Chairman Manuel Ortega, who has served on the board since 2015.
The KUA board interviewed eligible applicants and recommended three applicants whose names have been sent to the City of Kissimmee commission for a second round of interviews and final appointment in June.
The recommended applicants are:
- ADAM ADAMSKI, a lead trainer at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and a resident of Osceola County for 15+ years. Adamski, a US Navy veteran, graduated from University of Central Florida with a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering.
- JAVIN LOPEZ, a 20-year resident of Osceola County with over a decade of experience in real estate sales, training and mentorship. Lopez currently serves on the board of directors for the Osceola REALTORS® Association, the Florida REALTORS® Association, and is a member of the City of Kissimmee’s Planning Advisory Committee.
- JORDAN WHITE, a preconstruction project manager at NEI General Contracting, is a 12-year resident of Osceola County. White graduated from Western Governors University with a Master’s in Business Administration and received his Bachelor of Science from Florida State University.
The candidate appointed by the city commission will be sworn in at the board's October meeting.
