Professional Bio

Mike Poucher graduated from Georgia Tech with a Bachelors of Electrical Engineering in Power Systems in 1986. He started his career at Ocala Electic Utility as a Distribution Engineer, then moved into System Planning and became the Engineering Supervisor in 2005 and the Director the Utility in 2015. He retired in 2019 and came out of retirement as the Director of the Electric Utility at City of Bartow Electric Utility in 2024.
