Data Governance Lead - OUC

OUC - The Reliable One, an industry leader and the second largest municipal utility in Florida committed to serving the community and the environment, is presently seeking a Data Governance Lead to join the Transformation division.

We are looking for a collaborative and experienced professional to serve as a subject matter expert in ensuring the reliability, security, and compliance of critical data assets.

In this role, you will be responsible for collaborating closely with cross-functional teams and works to integrate data governance into all aspects of the technology landscape.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Bachelor's Degree in Data/Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, Analytics, Mathematics, Business Management, or related field of study from an accredited college or university:
• Minimum of six (6) years of experience in data governance with functional experience building and managing a governance structure and/or overseeing a governance process;
  o Above to include two (2) years of leading strategic projects, programs, employees, teams, training and/or work groups (required);
  o Experience in policy development, data security, and data governance tools and software (required).
• Related professional certifications in Data Governance, Analytics, and/or Science (preferred).
• Excellent presentation and communication skills
• Change management experience preferred
• Utility experience (preferred)

Salary Range: $109,977.68 - $137,472.39 annually (commensurate on experience)
