The Human Resources & Risk Manager is a key leadership position that plays a vital role in supporting our employees and strengthening our organization. This position oversees all aspects of human resources and risk management—helping ensure a positive workplace culture, compliance with laws and policies, and proactive management of organizational risk.

You will serve as a trusted advisor to leadership, a champion for employees, and a strategic partner in driving organizational success.

What You’ll Do

Lead with Impact

  • Guide and support leadership on employee relations, performance management, and organizational development
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and high-performing workplace culture

Build Strong Programs

  • Oversee recruitment, onboarding, classification, compensation, and benefits
  • Develop and implement HR policies and programs aligned with best practices and compliance standards

Protect and Strengthen the Organization

  • Manage workers’ compensation, liability, and insurance programs
  • Lead workplace investigations and risk mitigation efforts
  • Develop safety programs and training initiatives

Support Growth and Innovation

  • Coordinate training and leadership development programs
  • Contribute to strategic initiatives that enhance efficiency, engagement, and service delivery

Lead and Develop Others

  • Supervise and mentor HR staff
  • Promote continuous improvement and professional development

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Public Administration, Business Administration, or related field
  • Six (6) years of progressively responsible HR experience, including supervisory experience
  • Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered

Preferred:

  • PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP
  • Risk management or safety-related certifications
