OUCOUC – The Reliable One, an industry leader as the second largest municipal utility in Florida, is looking for a Manager, Fleet to join the Financial & Support Services, Fleet and Facilities team.

We are looking for results driven, process improvement oriented leader to oversee the daily fleet operations and be a champion of change for future migration of going from oil/gas vehicles to hybrid and eventually fully electric vehicles, and who can assist with achieving our vision of being an innovative solutions leader and the partner of choice.

In this role, you will be responsible for the specification, procurement, contract administration, maintenance and repair of commission vehicles/equipment and building out the infrastructure over the next five years.

The Ideal candidate will have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Engineering or directly related field from an accredited college or university
  • Minimum of five (5) years progressively responsible work experience in fleet operations, fleet maintenance, fleet procurement, or combination of experience
  • Minimum of three (3) years of supervisory/management experience
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in interaction with vendors and suppliers in the automotive industry
  • Certified Automotive Fleet Manager (CAFM) Program Certification
  • Strong interpersonal and written communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain trusting relationships within one’s own team and across the organization
