We are seeking a highly adaptable and results-driven Senior IT Project Manager who thrives in a fast-paced, high-visibility, and collaborative environment to lead the delivery of technology initiatives across OUC’s Technology Products portfolio. This position plays a critical role in ensuring that IT projects, ranging from short-term enhancements to operational process improvements, are completed on time, within scope, and aligned with OUC’s strategic objectives.

In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing multiple concurrent small- to mid-sized technology projects supporting OUC’s Meter-to-Cash ecosystem, including Customer Information System (CIS) Billing, metering, and related revenue platforms (Oracle CC&B 2.9 and MDM 2.5). You will manage project timelines, budgets, resources, and stakeholder communications while coordinating with cross-functional teams that include business analysts, developers, contractors, testers, and functional subject matter experts. The Senior IT Project Manager will also lead efforts to enhance system functionality; manage patching, bug fixes, testing cycles, and service packs; and ensure all deliverables meet established quality standards. The ideal candidate will have:

  • A strong background in IT project management, preferably within the utilities sector, with experience supporting CIS Billing, Meter-to-Cash, utility billing, or comparable enterprise systems, and the ability to manage multiple small- to medium-sized projects simultaneously (typically under $100K and less than three months in duration)
  • Experience collaborating with stakeholders and Meter-to-Cash team members to ensure business and operational needs are met through effective, well-governed IT solutions
  • Ability to oversee project work such as system patching, data cleanup, billing-related updates, new solutions, bug fixes, and purging of legacy data
  • Experience leading the implementation of base system functionality and targeted customizations to enhance business operations and system performance
  • Proven capability to coordinate with Business Applications Analysts, Architects, developers, testers, SMEs, knowledge providers, contractors, and environment managers to track and manage environment utilization
  • Strong documentation and communication skills, including providing timely project status updates and contributing to monthly scorecards and reporting
  • Proficiency using tools such as Microsoft Office Suite, Jira, spreadsheets, and Microsoft Project to manage project plans, timelines, risks, and dependencies

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a directly related field from an accredited university; In lieu of a degree, an equivalent combination of education, certifications, training, and directly related project management experience may be substituted on a 1:1 basis
  • Project management certification required; PMI Project Management Professional (PMP) certification strongly preferred
  • Minimum of seven (7) years of experience in IT project management, including successful oversight of large or complex technology projects or programs (required)
  • Experience leading projects supporting Customer Information Systems (CIS) Billing, utility billing platforms, or comparable enterprise applications, with Oracle Utilities CC&B strongly preferred; experience with Oracle MDM or similar data management platforms is a plus
  • Experience using Jira and Microsoft Project (or Excel spreadsheets for project tracking and reporting)
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects concurrently while ensuring timely delivery and stakeholder satisfaction
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to manage stakeholder expectations and clearly report on project status

Salary Range:  $116,618 – $145,773 annually - commensurate with experience
