Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the successful delivery of large, complex IT projects, with a focus on collaboration and efficiency
  • Work cross-functionally with internal teams and stakeholders to drive project success
  • Proactively identify risks, manage issues, and ensure projects stay on track
  • Apply change management principles as part of daily project oversight
  • Lead with a customer-focused mindset while balancing stakeholder needs and expectations
  • Ensure clear, effective communication across all levels of the organization
  • Ensure adherence to OUC’s Project Management Office (PMO) standards and business process management practices

The ideal candidate will have: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field from an accredited college or university. In lieu of a degree, an equivalent combination of education, certification, training, and direct project management experience may be substituted on a 1:1 basis.
  • PMP or other valid project management certification (preferred).
  • Minimum of seven (7) years of experience in IT project management, including successful oversight of large, complex projects (required).
  • Minimum of five (5) years of IT project management experience directly in the utilities industry (preferred).
  • Experience with IVR technologies implementation in large-scale environments.
  • Proficient in issue and risk management, with the ability to mitigate potential negative outcomes.
  • Strong understanding of and applicable experience in business process management within a highly visible PMO.
  • Ability to remain flexible and focused under pressure to meet project deadlines.
  • Resourceful leadership with a proven track record of driving results in process improvement.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage vertically with team members, directors, and stakeholders.

Salary Range: $116,618.40 - $145,773.89 annually - commensurate with experience
