This is professional supervisory work planning, coordinating, and supervising all activities related to the design, implementation, deployment, and maintenance of software applications used in the day-to-day operation and management of the City of Gainesville, (Gainesville Regional Utilities and General Government).Positions allocated to this class report to an Information Technology Manager and work under general supervision. Work in this class is distinguished from other classes by its lack of overall departmental responsibility and by its supervisory responsibility and advanced technical skills.
