The City of Wauchula is currently accepting applications for Apprentice Lineman, levels 1, 2, and 3.
Final placement will depend on the applicant’s skills, experience, and qualifications.
Disaster/Emergency/Schedule/On Call/Rotating Shifts Expectations:
This position is considered an emergency/disaster position, which requires the employee be ready, willing, and able to report to work during emergencies and/or disasters of any kind, notwithstanding any other commitments the employee may have.

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly exposed to work in high, precarious places; outdoor weather conditions and risk of electrical shock. The employee is frequently exposed to work near moving mechanical parts and fumes or airborne particles. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
